Stewart Orden and Bonnie Orden have nearly sixty years of
litigating an enormously varied set of legal matters. Stewart Orden has
gained settlements for civil clients including personal injury slip and fall
victims and car accident victims to a jury verdict in favor of the owners of
a Ten Million Dollar East Hampton Beach home wrecked by tenants who let the
pipes freeze. Mr. Orden successfully represented a father in a contested
matrimonial case who needed a fighter to gain full custody of his children.
After filing papers in the Supreme Court he obtained a free private school
education for a student suspended from public school for writing a "mean
girls" diary. Stewart Orden won the highest publicly acknowledged award
ever paid by the City of New York
in a sexual harassment case. His clients were awarded a settlement of
$300,000.00 dollars for an unwelcome kiss on the cheek, and some dirty words
spoken as executives in the toy industry. As a trial expert, Mr. Orden has
taught, lectured and given demonstrations of trial techniques to a national
audience of law students and trial lawyers for over twenty-five years. Trial
practice concentrating in civil litigation, personal injury, matrimonial,
white collar, securities, and complex criminal defense. Practice has
included enormous settlements in discrimination lawsuits, accident cases,
defense of companies under investigation by Antitrust Division of Justice
Department, companies and individuals under federal investigation by various
U.S. Attorney's offices, and SEC as well asdefense
of State crimes.
